Why we started
When my mother fell ill while visiting family back home, she had to be hospitalised. I was lucky to have relatives who were proactive — but I saw the strain it placed on them. Chasing money across borders. Exchanging currencies. Never quite sure if the full amount would reach the hospital on time. Mauwga was born from that moment — so no family has to carry that weight alone.
